Delay Deprecating SevOne NMS Reporting Feature

As a follow up to the discussion with Ben Fogal, we are formally requesting the SevOne NMS Reporting feature be retained until version 10 or later. Our adoption of Data Insight as the reporting interface for SevOne data has been delayed due to the lack of the 'productized' resiliency for saved reports and user data. We understand Data Insight resiliency will be introduced in the version 9 release but this leaves little to no time to test, certify and deploy this feature and version of code to production since the NMS Report Manager is slated to be deprecated in the same version. Delaying the deprecation of NMS Report Manager to v10 (or later) will provide time deploy the resilient Data Insight design in a controlled manner and minimize disruption to users as they adopt DI and migrate reports.

    Hey Austin,

After considering this request, we have made the decision to delay the deprecation to a 9.1 release. So the 9.0 release in Sept will still retain the SURF reporting functions.
