This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Today Palo Alto Firewalls running in HA mode can be monitored via OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.25461.2.1.2.1.11 to see their current state of HA.
The values returned are strings and can be "disabled", "active", or "passive"
Other vendors like F5 have used integer's to state the state of their HA status. With Palo Alto having done it via a string, currently this keeps me from polling for HA status for Palo Alto devices within SevOne. Ideally if polling for strings was allowed, I could have a policy to alarm me when a device's status changes from active to passive to active. Perhaps even a separate policy to ensure none of my Palo Alto's ever have their HA disabled.
