ITNM : Partial discovery based on IPs against a subset of mib oids

In Agile Lifecycle Manager (ALM) project, we have requirement on need to check the availability of the physical interface ports, vlan ,and sub interface, and need to check their ifDescription, IfAdminStatus and ifOperStatus....before we make a request to ALM to trigger activation request....
but this information will not be updated after ITNM discovery is performed.
If we want to query from ITNM which is the centralized managers that monitoring the devices,
instead of directly talk to all the network devices
currently, as per my understanding, we have configured discovery agents, which determine what kind of the information that ITNM will get and the discovery will based on the scope (IPs) and discovery agents (mibs) to discover.
but for our ALM use case above, we only need to discover a small set of mibs oids on a targeted devices...
We do not one to add overhead to the system as the frequency should be short based on the activation request.

According to Support, this feature is not available and suggest to open RFE.
