Add ability to pause target reporting

We have a password that changes and it takes a number of days to reset. In the time it takes update the password the targets try too many times and locks the new password. If we can pause the discovery of the target with a pause button this would be great.

Sorry Simon, I missed this update. This sounds like a great solution to this issue.

Bryan - many thanks for raising this. I understand the requirement here and see how it supports a more secure environment to better support password rotations on service accounts used by targets.

We already have healtchecks that detect successive discovery failures on targets. One extension of this idea is to auto-disable a target if there are successive authentication errors due to an incorrect password until a Turbo Admin comes in and enables it. What are your thoughts on that?

    Thanks again,

    Simon
