Hi Noboru, thanks for all the inputs. I´m reviewing this idea and will discuss it with the team. Will come back to you once I have more details.
-As far as I know, as one of the famous use cases of GPU instances,
that is used for CAD application use on VDI environment of public cloud.
Regarding on those use cases, their OS environments are mostly Windows.
As this market is quite large, it is expected a big demand for optimization.
-If optimization function of Turbonomic will support Windows environment,,
It will be possible to conserve precious and expensive GPU resources, which is an issue around the world.
Achieving this is also expected to reduce electricity costs and carbon dioxide emissions at data centers.
In other words, by implementing this function, IBM will be able to contribute to society problem around the world also, from the perspective of SDGs.
-As far as we investigated, this support for Windows environment seems to be depended on specification and limitation of DCGM provided by NVIDIA.
By that, there are no tools that can optimize GPU instance on Windows environment so far, including other competitive products.
The first product that can support early will gain the share at the most.
If needed, could you cooperate with NDVIA corporation to support for Windows environment.
-Even though when we think about only JBCC deal of Turbonomic(included in Clouldability Premium edition).
Our business opportunities are expected as additional license revenue of $200k-$300k yearly approx.
