This is not a new idea rather than reporting on a lost feature in TWS 9.5

There is no way to rename the Workload Broker Workstation in TWS 9.5
It take the host name and add _DWB as post fix to the name. This is not good when we use backup master and long term switch to the backup master. In fact I manage to rename the DWB workstation to a conman name between Master and Backup Master. Now the new name is visible but proctree of the netman process still show the old name.

    Can --brwksname <broker_workstation_name> use ./serverinst.sh with any upgrade type option ?

    Thanks for that. I will try it with other future installations. I have already installed it in few environments like SIT and DEV. Can we update the already installed instances with this extra parameter of --brwksname <broker_workstation_name>?

    Hence, Is there any way to rename it after install it? As I mentioned, I have already renamed and it still works as the renamed DWB name. When getting the list of CPUs from the composer command it shows with the new name. The only place still it is referring to the old name is the 'proctree' of the 'netman' process. I strongly believe the 'proctree' is picking the old name from one of the xml or properties files, so there must be a way to change it too.

    The requirement is valid, anyway we suggest to use the following variable at installation time to set the Broker Workstation: [--brwksname broker_workstation_name].
