Optimize in-line scripts in Symphony file

Hi

I recently met a customer that is using in-line scripts significantly and has over 100K jobs a day. As a result of the fact that these in-line scripts are stored in the Symphony, the size of the Symphony is huge (>250 MB) which imposes some performance issues

Since in-line scripts are submitted by the broker, what's the point of adding the entire in-line script in the Symphony file. Putting a reference to the DB definition of the in-line script would give us 2 advantages

1) The size of the Symphony will not be impacted by these in-line scripts (which can grow up to 16K characters)
2) Larger in-line scripts (larger than 16K characters) are possible

This RFE is low priority because the customer can use external scripts, so we are not going to consider it any time soon.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Cloud
Product family - Workload Automation and Control Desk
Product - IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
Product family - ITSM Automation and Control Desk
Product - IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)

. This requirement would be addressed with an architecture evolution for a next release. Stay tuned on our transparent development program to discuss our evolution with our labs.
