Provide a configurable option in Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) to automatically populate the Job Stream field with a default value (such as /JOBS) when submitting predefined jobs.

In IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) version 10.2.3 and earlier, the Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) automatically populated the Job Stream field with the default value "/JOBS" when users submitted predefined jobs.

Following the implementation of APAR IJ52941 in later releases, including IWS 10.2.7, the prefilled "/JOBS" value was intentionally removed from the Submit Predefined Job interface. As a result, users must now manually enter the Job Stream value each time they submit a predefined job.

We understand that this change was introduced as part of a product design improvement and is working as intended. However, many customers have operational procedures and user workflows that were built around the previous behavior. The requirement to manually enter the Job Stream value introduces additional user interaction and increases the potential for data entry mistakes.

We are requesting an enhancement that would allow administrators to configure a default Job Stream value for predefined job submissions.

2. Provide an option to enable or disable automatic population of the Job Stream field.
3. Allow administrators to specify a custom default value according to organizational requirements.
4. Maintain the current behavior as the default while allowing customers to opt in to automatic population through configuration.

Expected Result

When enabled by an administrator, the Submit Predefined Job interface should automatically populate the Job Stream field with the configured default value, reducing manual effort while preserving the flexibility introduced by APAR IJ52941.
