Allow downloadable lists for all entity types from "list of xxx" pages

There are many use cases to be able to download lists of entities. Today, there is only one workaround for one entity type and that's for VMs only. To get a list of all VMs you need to go to "Top Virtual Machines" and then download from there. For...

Offering a "community edition" with certain limitations.

To sell the product as a Product Lead, it is necessary to adopt an SMB business approach of getting more users to try it first. In this case, as with many other SMB products, a license that is available for free use in the customer's environment i...

When creating a volume scaling policy I want to be able to easily select groups for the policies in the same way as the VM policies work.

Currently I have to use a regex expression to include all the groups that the policy applies to. This is highly inconvenient as every time I want to add a new group to the policy I have to construct a new regex expression.

Improve adding groups to "Volumes" and "Database" policies

Currently, when changing the scope of a policy, the new scope overrides the old scope once saved. This only occurs for database policies and volume policies, not virtual machine policies. For example, if i have a policy and the scope is for group ...

Add support for a self-hosted appliance on public cloud IaaS

A number of customers are for a self-hosted deployment of a virtual appliance hosted on Public Cloud IaaS as they cannot use SaaS due to data privacy consideration and do not want to go for an OVA deployment as they either have outsourced the on-p...

Lower the size of the .ova hard drive

When importing the .ova the machine disk is 1,75Tib. Even if all this space is not used up thanks to thin provisioning, it is still a bad practice to over-provision that much storage. In our case the thinning of the space is done on the storage ba...

Create an Account level policy entity type

When accounts have many different resource entity types, it's very cumbersome to create a generic policy for half a dozen resource types across dozens of accounts. If there was an Account policy type, high-level settings such as Action Generation:...

Add list of Policies to bottom of Volume details page for consistency

When viewing a virtual machine or database server the details page has a list of policies at the bottom of it, so you can see what's applicable. It would be handy to also see this list on volumes.

Track metadata on when a policy was created, modified and by who

Currently there is nowhere in the policy list to see who created it, when it was created, when it was modified or who the culprit is. This type of basic logging would be very useful when you have hundreds of people active in the tool at the same t...

Breakout list of user-defined policies into entity type to match the list provided in the group management UI

Current groups are broken out by VM, Account, DB, etc. In policies they are only grouped by imported, user defined, etc. Would be more useful to add sub sections by policy type: VM, Volume, etc.
