If the license is exceeded, please do not automatically add new managed entities.

Even if a user adds a virtual machine and that causes the number of licenses to be exceeded, there is currently no way to restrict this on the Turbonomic product side. (As an admin, this can lead to unintended overage.) To prevent this, we would l...

Rollback from an action

The customer change management process requires the equivalent rollback action for any change done in the process. If you cannot provide a rollback action they cannot do the action. They want to do a rollback using the Turbo UI or an API.

Consistent sizing: Allow consistent number of vCPUs instead of consistent CPU capacity in MHz

Customers are not using MHz or GHz when they are dealing with CPU capacity of VMs but vCPUs. Thus, for a user consistent resizing shall - at least as an option - result in the same number of vCPUs. For a user it’s really hard to understand if the ...

Support for AWS AMI Teardown/Security Lifecycle Policy -- extending pod spec abstraction to EC2/IaaS

My client has a Cloud Security policy where every 30 days, every VM Appliance in AWS is torn down and rebuilt. This creates an issue where after rebuild, that resource is tracked by Turbo under a new UUID and historical data is not tied back to th...

Integration of Groups with Cloudability business mappings

Currently there are little to no apparent integrations of Turbonomic with Cloudability. One feature that would be of high priority is to integrate "business mappings" that are leveraged in cloudability to "groups" used to group resources in Turbon...

Consistent sizing: Show group member(s) with highest utilization which determine size of the group

In Turbonomic UI you don't have a chance to easily identify the member of a consistent resizing group with the highest load which determines the VM size for the group. This becomes almost impossible when comparing VMs running on hosts with differe...

Support Action Generation for GCP Managed Instance Groups (MIGs) in Turbonomic

Currently, Turbonomic does not generate actions for virtual machines (VMs) that are part of a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Managed Instance Group (MIG), unless a specific probe property is manually enabled (gcp.mig.vm.action.enabled). Even when ena...

To allow Kubeturbo to send data to more than one Turbonomic backend server

When migrating Turbonomic, customers often run both the new and old instances in parallel to validate that the new server is functioning correctly. This allows them to compare results side by side. However, the current Kubeturbo implementation onl...
