Add possibility to analyze deployed version if different technologies

As Instana is capturing the currently deployed version of a software, we would like use this information in order to search for vulnerable and outdated versions (in addition to a source-based dependency analysis).

We did try to analyze the deployed nginx versions, but we weren't able to define a Dynamic query which is providing all deployed NGINX versions.

Is there a way to get an overview about all deployed versions for instance for nginx?

Maybe this is something which could be handled by the infrastructure comparison table.

    For the particular use case mentioned for NGINX we have started developing the ability to group entities by NGINX version in the newly public beta Infrastructure Analytics. This should make it to you in the upcoming release.

    In the mean time, if you could let us know other value technology version metadata that would be really useful for your operations and we will go ahead and add those as queryable tags right away.

    We are hoping to add some enhancements to the newly public beta of Infrastructure Analytics (replacement for Comparison Table) such that you will be able to list useful infrastructure entity metadata alongside metrics for the entities.
