This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Additional details for this Idea/RFE:
# Use Case:
Run the Netcool/OMNIbus probe integration to connect to, and collect events from, "DX NetOps Spectrum v21.2.x (was CA Spectrum v10.5)", using encryption provided by TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3. The older SSL 3.0 protocol is not acceptable.
# Business Justification:
Customer requires all data to be encrypted in-transit for all connections, including internal connections. For this example, this is the objectserver-to-probe connection, and the probe-to-datasource connection (Spectrum connection). This data encryption in-transit is required by banking industry regulations and client security standards. Spectrum v21.2.x CORBA provides higher security than previous versions, specifically TLS 1.3 (2015 standard), which is the latest improvement over SSL 3.0.
