discovery and Ping polling to VRF interface with HSRP on Nexus
We need to be able to discover and ping polling to the IP addresses on physical interfaces on HSRP with VRF environment on Nexus.
When ITNM discover HSRP with VRF's between 2 devices, ITNM sometimes defined the physical or virtual IP address as a managed address. And this behavier changes at every discovery. For example, they have configured HSRP with VRF's between VRF-A and VRF-B, and IP address is X.X.X.X on VRF-A and Y.Y.Y.Y on VRF-B, and virtual IP address is V.V.V.V. On the first discovery, VRF-A is defined X.X.X.X and VRF-B is defined Y.Y.Y.Y as managed address, but on 2nd discovery, VRF-A is defined V.V.V.V and VRF-B is defined Y.Y.Y.Y as managed address. There is no regularity in these behaviors and it is random.
ITNM can't poll to both of Virtual IP address and Physical IP address on HSRP. It's the specifications of ITNMThe customer has a request that ITNM can discover the HSRP configuration correctly and poll to both IP addresses.
