Hi Jeremy, Yes that categorization is exactly what is needed, but it's needed when viewing the list of Policies on a specific entity or group. If I'm looking at a VM, or custom group, the policies tab is a randomly sorted list (some we created, some the tool is creating.) Typically the user-created policies are the ones applicable to troubleshooting a problem. If those were listed first and the autogenerated policies listed second, that would make it much easier to review. As an example, I just randomly picked an EC2 to refresh my memory, and it had 14 policies applied. 6 of which are from Turbonomic but mixed throughout the list.
On that entity's Policy tab it would look like:
