This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

See IBM Case TS011934194. In the discount inventory report available under Cloud, the column cost savings is wrongly indicated. Instead of calculating the savings by subtracting the PAYGO rate minus the 3 year RI reserved rate, the report is showing the PAYGO rate. Engineering says this is due to the TURBO Azure Service Principal NOT being able to see the RI and the RI Order. The customer says why doesn't turbo automatically tell you which RIs are not visible - just like the Azure Billing Target gives sophisticated error messages about what's wrong.
Suggest that in the Azure Service Principal Target we add additional comments "Please give the Azure Service Principal read access to the following RI and RI orders. We know they exist because we can see them in the Azure Billing Target." We can have this alert come up in the notification center for that target.
The customer would then work with their automation to update the permissions on those RIs to give Turbo visibility.

Yes this was the change due to the raised case you mentioned.
mm - part of this actually might already be in the GUI - when you go into Discounted Inventory - the RIs which the Azure Service Principal can't see come up as N/A. Warning - this is either the RI ID or the RI order ID. both need to be given permissions.
