Bulk Create IAM Roles and add as Targets when adding a Master Billing account

Turbonomic supports ingesting AWS data from already created IAM Role/Users for specific AWS Accounts. This is great for 1 or 2 AWS accounts, but for customers who have 100s of AWS accounts, this can be very tedious. I am aware AWS allows their users to automate this, but the customer has to do the heavy lifting.

We are currently working on the ability to get historical Cloudwatch data (Turbonomic Day-0) so that POVs can see value in AWS in a single day, which is a fantastic user experience. What we would also like is to be able to ingest data from 100s of AWS accounts without asking the customer to write CloudFormation scripts. Assuming the right IAM role in an AWS Master account, we would like the ability to CREATE and add all IAM roles in sub accounts as Turbonomic AWS Account targets automatically. This would rapidly expand the scope of a POC or of an AWS Turbonomic customer by increasing the number of EC2 instances being managed.

Currently getting the customer to do this work has rarely seen an increase in managed workloads, but if this was automated by adding a Master account and automatically ingesting data from all the sub accounts could really see an increase in Turbonomic managed workloads.

Prospects consider this to be a large admin load for a PoV and so often will only add a sub-set of the environment which leads to issues around partial analysis and inaccuracy. Anything we can do to ease this setup load will increase the scale and chances of successful PoVs
