Add Turbo MVS Licenses as an additional line in the Workload Improvements Widget

We've just had a sensitive conversation with the client where we were NOT able to give a clear count of License growth over time because we didn't have the data. Merely point in Time which was recorded by Jim.

If we were able to put ACTIVE VM counts into the Workload Improvement Charts (Hybrid/OnPrem/Cloud) then the client would be able to plan budget and license allocation costs appropriately.

Ideally they would be able to determine which Clusters/Subscriptions the license growth was in - but at the very least can we start tracking Active licenses.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experiences and ideas. We think this is a good idea and will target it for inclusion in a future release.

We understand the request to add this information to the Workload Improvements widget, and will investigate the feasibility of surfacing the information there. However, if the customer is running their own deployment (i.e., not using Turbonomic SaaS), then data regarding license usage over time data should be readily available from the IBM License Service (see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/tarm/latest?topic=installation-tracking-license-usage-license-service).

If you have any additional feedback or thoughts, reply to this message to continue the conversation.
