We need Turbonomic to report amortized costs per AWS to match what is being reported in CloudHealth (and ultimately what is being charged-back to Application owners).

Support for Azure SQL reserved capacity

Product doesn't currently support Azure SQL (PaaS) reserved capacity. This functionality is similar conceptually to Reserved Instances for VMs; however, it applies to SQL. Impact: Turbonomic will potentially create pending actions to scale a SQL d...

if a client has a special RI Discount % with Microsoft on top of the regular RI savings - that discount should be included under the effective cost column in the Discount Inventory Widget

If Turbo can't see this special RI Discount % , then the cost of the RIs are wrong. This causes issues in reporting and also affects the decision of whether the RI should be purchased or not. If this special RI Discount is NOT visible through any ...

Customer wants to be informed which Azure Reserved Instances are not visible to the Turbo Azure Service Principal. This leads to improved cost information on savings.

See IBM Case TS011934194. In the discount inventory report available under Cloud, the column cost savings is wrongly indicated. Instead of calculating the savings by subtracting the PAYGO rate minus the 3 year RI reserved rate, the report is showi...
