Product Enhancement Idea to show last Loaded File Name against an Apptio table

All the production users including BAU and Technical Team

What is the user trying to accomplish? (think process not solution)

At present there is no machnism to fetch the detail of File Name which has been loaded into a Apptio table though it’s visible in Uplodad section, please refere the screenshit attached as an example, but we cant fetch it into a varable to populate it in a Report. We are trying to create a report of all the loaded tables along with Table Name, Last loaded file Name, Loaded Row count and Last loaded Date and time. We talk to or development team but they responded Apptio product is nat having any functionality to provide you the last loaded file’s Name againt a table.

Why: What is the value it has for the user or your company?

There are around 150 tables every months gets loaded in Apptio Data project and Operation team needs to load and confirm the same the sender individually ( table wise). Out plan is to Create a single Report which will show detail like Table Name, Last loaded file Name, Loaded Row count and Last loaded Date and time. Which will provide a consolidate view of all the loaded tables along with aformestioned detail. It will save a lot of time every month.

How will you assess that it is complete?

By validating the functionality of capturing last Loaded file into a variable.
