The recommended plan of action is to utilize the newly available Infrastructure Analytics solution and APIs to analyze large scale entities and their metrics. We will be working with the customer success team to rollout this capability for REWE.
Hi Edwin,
I would say an acceptable load time would be no longer than 5 seconds.
If I understand your 2nd question correctly, it is to see an overview of our Infrastructure, however, as it takes so long to load (with so many agents reporting), we would like to have this addressed.
I would also like Jens to comment.
hi, the customer wants to know how many agents are reporting to the Instana backend at a given time. And maybe collect some more informations about them.
In this moment this can't be achieved from any place. the infra map is unusable when the number of agents gets too big, and the same happens if you go to settings/agents.
The api is really fast! There is something wrong in the UI if it takes so much time. Feel free to slack for a live overview of the problem.
Hi Carlo and Jens,
could you describe what an acceptable load time would be for your main uses cases?
Could you also describe how you currently use the Infra Map are in your problem resolution workflow?
