Infosys is using Openstack version Ussuri and Yoga
Proximus in Belgium is a prospect for Turbonomic ARM, but they also have a large Openstack footprint. So having Openstack could unblock the deal.
With the completion of VMware's acquisition of Broadcom, users also appear to be moving away from VMware.
Many Japanese users are requesting OpenStack support again.
We would like Redhat Virtualiztion to support OpenStack as I think there is a business opportunity there as well.
https://www.ibm.com/products/powervc which is IBM power private cloud
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cic/1.2.0 which is IBM z and LinuxONE private cloud
both are private cloud solution based on openstack for their cloud solution with many customers
they provide openstack compatible API with advanced enterprise features
it will be good to support openstack so it will help address the biz need for those customers
Sicredi Bank (www.sicredi.com.br) is also moving away from vmware and AWS to Ubuntu OpenStack. We should miss this opportunity with Turbo due to lack of support.
Hi, I missed out these following two opportunities becuse Turbo not suppot OpenStack.
The Taiwan Web Service (https://tws.twcc.ai/en/) who provide the AIHPC (High Performance Computing) service, and they're using OpenStack. The National Center for High-performacne Computing (NCHC) in Taiwan (https://www.nchc.org.tw) is also using OpenStack.
Hi all - for those that are working with customers using Red Hat OpenSTACK, have these customers expressed interest or planning to move to OpenSHIFT VIRTUALIZATION?
Hi, I have 2 main french banks (socieet generale and arkea) who also used Openstack on which they build their private cloud'. And Turbonomic does not support it. André

Today I met KTB Openstack team lead and discussed regarding number of VMs on OpenStack. The direction of KTBCS is 1.) All new VMs create on Openstack 2.) Migrate existing VMs on VMWARE to OpenStack. Now the number of VMs on OpenStack is ~1xxx VMs. He can’t provide number of VMs on VMWARE because managed by another team.
I will connect to VMWARE team lead and discuss in detail and update again.
This is not something we have planned at this time but please go ahead and upvote and comment if this is of interest in the future. Thanks.
