Request for Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) Support in Turbonomic

Dear Turbonomic Production Team,

Turbonomic currently lacks support for Alibaba Cloud, and I strongly believe that incorporating this support would be invaluable, especially given the significant presence of Alibaba Cloud in the Chinese market. Notably, respected organizations such as BMW China and McDonald's China have chosen Turbonomic to optimize their resources. McDonald's China, in particular, relies on Turbonomic to enhance the efficiency of its operations. As both BMW China and McDonald's China leverage Alibaba Cloud for their strategic workloads, extending support to Alibaba Cloud in Turbonomic becomes even more critical.

Here are some key points underscoring the importance of Alibaba Cloud support, with specific mention of BMW China and McDonald's China:

1 Strategic Usage by Leading Brands: Recognized brands such as McDonald's China, alongside BMW China, have strategically chosen Turbonomic for resource optimization. As these enterprises leverage Alibaba Cloud for their critical workloads, adding Alibaba Cloud support to Turbonomic aligns the platform with the strategic choices of industry leaders.

2 Market Leadership in China: Alibaba Cloud's prominence in the Chinese market is undeniable. By supporting Alibaba Cloud, Turbonomic can better cater to the needs of users in China and strengthen its position as a leading solution for enterprises in this region.

While I recognize the challenges in managing development priorities, I am confident that adding Alibaba Cloud support is a strategic move that would enhance Turbonomic's value proposition. I appreciate your consideration of this request and am available to provide any additional information or support required.

Turbonomic is also part of the Sustainability Sales Play integrated with MAS, SupplyChain, TAS amd EIS. If Turbonomic can be deployed on AliCloud, it will also help positioning other SSW products on AliCloud in the future.

Numerous customers, such as casinos and insurance companies, use AliCloud in Hong Kong and Macau. When they learned about Turbonomic, they were interested in using it, but Turbonomic does not support AliCloud, only supporting K8s in AliCloud and no roadmap to include it. Many customers are disappointed with Turbonomic and give up considering it, and the HK IBM team has difficulty promoting it.
