Scaling appdata processor with HPA

We are using the instana self hosted operator and hpa to scale up appdata processor based on cpu usage we noticed that after the first start of the container it has a really high error rate. Maybe the container marks itself healthy too early. I attached a screenshot of one Appdata-Processor. Also we see that the Appdata Processor has a really high cpu usage during start (2x times higher than usual)

Thanks for the idea. Scaling up components based on CPU and other requests/limits and HPA makes a lot of sense. We will consider building this in the future and consider auto-scaling more holistically.

Thanks for highlighting the high error rate of Appdata-Processor. Was there any other suggestion or question in your AHA idea?
