Make Instana Agent removal completely clean. Currently, there is no uninstaller when performing Static install, so differences remain in the registry.

When instana agent is installed statically on windows, updates and writes are made to the windows registry when start.bat is used, which cannot be removed.
This is because there is no uninstaller for static installations. Enterprise-grade customers have a variety of installation requirements, but often want complete removal when they do remove the software.
instana market share is not large in Japan yet, and we cannot create unnecessary anxiety for our customers. Therefore, we would like to request you to develop an uninstaller, or a method to restore the windows registry to a completely clean state.

    Hi,


    if Instana Agent is run from Zip archive, no registry changes are made by Instana in any way.

    If running the Agent Installer and later uninstalling, all Instana created registry entries are cleaned up again.

    If you still think this issue persists, pls create a support case with IBM Instana.
