Government System Use Warning

We have been going through our annual assessment for ATO the last few weeks and one of the artifacts that we needed to present is a screenshot of a “Government System Use” warning for Instana. I’m sure you have run across something like this in the past, it’s basically a web page with a message about the system that appears before one is granted access to the product. The message usually states something like, “You are entering a Government System” and the user has to accept or acknowledge before they can continue.

We met this requirement by stating "COTS Product Limitation." I am not a fan of putting this verbiage on an Authority to Operate document, because I would like to continue using Instana on our government systems.

Such an interim page could be added to the SSO login page and fully controlled by the operators to fit the exact individual needs. Adding this as a product capability is not currently considered.
