Smart Alerts, more options to Maintenance Window & time evaluation period of invidual alerts

Today Maintenance Window has a fixed start/end date and time. Some customer are asking for a more flexible approach, like crontab settings:

  1. A fixed period each day (to handle agent updates and restarts in systems that have many alerts for online/offline like K8s platforms)

  2. Day of week , eg. set a maintenance window on each Monday, 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Related with the request:

Include the option to set date/time period for some alerts to be enabled & enforced (like a crontab expression). The maintenance window is not valid for the requirement because it silent all the events. The fact is many customers have different date/time periods on different services and platforms, some of them will be enabled, others could be disabled or not enforced.
