The customer can get event types such as incident, issue, change using Instana API, but they cannot get monitoring issues which are very important for them. Due to these monitoring issues, the monitoring done by Instana on technologies in production environment is interrupted. Therefore, they request the feature "Getting Monitoring Issues via Instana API".

It's already possible to retrieve monitoring issues in addition to Incidents, Issues, or Changes using the API, by setting includeAgentMonitoringIssues to true.
It may be worth noting that is currently not possible to retrieve exclusively monitoring issues using the API (i.e., monitoring issues can currently only be retrieved with one or more of the following event types: Incident, Issue and Change).
We're planning on improving this so that users can also retrieve exclusively monitoring issues, if they so choose to. Refer this related idea for more details.
