For Kong monitoring, we currently have agents being monitored and this poses a great deal of work to figure out which agent among 100's of agents some clusters may have to know the metrics. Instead, Kong monitoring should be based on cluster level just like how you have for kubernetes.
How i visualize this is :
Open Instana --> Kong --> List of all Kong clusters --> Then overall Kong metrics displayed there. Also, if one want to go granular per node/agent level, there should be provision for this.
Current model of just randomizing all agents under one pane makes it difficult for the operator to understand which cluster metrics are being checked. Especially , with large no of nodes in a cluster, the job is more confusing.
