Needs to monitor swap/paging metrics for AIX hosts
We need to monitor and alert on swap/paging metrics for AIX and Windows hosts. After having configured events for these metrics, they triggered incorrectly for AIX and Windows and instana support confirmed with engineering that they only provide these metrics for Linux hosts. So, this Feature Request is to ask that we add them for AIX and Windows.
More details: While setting up an event for host infrastructure monitoring, found something peculiar about the metric "Memory Swap free" under the entity type host. Event was for paging space and I set the condition to be around avg memory swap free is less than 2GB (2048000000 bytes an approximate). But it doesn't looks for the paging space swap on the AIX servers. I started getting alerts from all the servers when the servers had hardly 2% of swap space being used. As per the support, memorySwapFree/Total metrics for Windows/AIX is not supported. Please refer to instana support request#22505.
