Smart Alert - grouping/summary/templates

A function of other APMs that I've used is the concepts of summaries and group alert copy or alert templates.

Summaries - In cases, when memory, CPU and or filesystems alert they do so together which is a single event. With a summary structure, where you could group smart alerts, you could have a conditional AND|OR|ALL|Single scoping which if CPU reached warning, and memory is also in warning, that is a better precursor to having a system failure and could be more predictive than prescriptive.

Templates - with the use of hostname placeholder which helps reduce our alert structures, it would also be useful to have a template alert grouping, where when a new server comes on line, with additional JVMs that have to be custom titled since there isn't a way to inject a JVM tag/name, we may resort to having the five base KPI for each of the 24 servers, and each with 15+ named JVM.

Global Custom Payloads can already include the host name or other details and the same alert can be configured for all hosts, even ones that are not online at the creation of the alert.
Please clarify your usecase with a CSM to see how it's best to structure alerts in Instana to solve your needs.
